Winter Mix
A blend of ¾" clean and ¾" minus basalt, built for the wet months. The clean rock keeps it from binding up, so our drivers can still spread it when ¾" minus alone would clump in the dump bed.
Why this exists
Once ¾" minus gets wet it compacts so well it won't come out of the truck. Granite is the other wet-weather answer, but Winter Mix is for customers who want to stay with basalt.
Still compacts
You keep most of the binding of a minus, so it still works for driveways and pathways.
