Regular Cedar Chips
Our largest cedar chip. Splinter-free, so it's commonly used in dog runs, barefoot pathways, and other soft ground coverings.
Better than play chips for some families
Many choose this over the fine play chip for playgrounds. The larger size stays put better, so less of it ends up scattered across the yard or tracked through the house.
Important note about cedar:
Cedar repels pests and is naturally splinter-free, which makes it good for play areas and dog runs. However, it also repels pollinators, so keep it away from flowering plants. It holds moisture well but has a high potential for mold. Not safe for chickens, and dog runs should be well ventilated since cedar is very aromatic.
