Fine Bark
The finest grade of our fir and hemlock bark. It breaks down into the soil fastest, so it won't build up heavily over the years- good for beds you re-landscape annually, and a quick way to add acidity to the top of berry and flower beds.
Where not to use it:
It's too fine to stay put on walkways or slopes.
Not splinter-free
Fir and hemlock bark isn't splinter-free, so it isn't suitable for playgrounds, pet areas, or barefoot pathways. For those, see our cedar chips.
